Methods and systems are provided for tracking of patron redemption of monetary value gaming tickets. In a method of anonymous tracking, at least one image of a patron seeking to redeem a monetary value ticket at a redemption station is obtained and is stored in association with information regarding the monetary value that the patron presented for redemption. Transactions by the same patron may be linked via the image of the patron. In another configuration, a patron's ID is read and a patron account is created in association with an issued media. The patron uses the media to identify their account when redeeming a monetary value gaming ticket. Reported information may be analyzed, such as for suspicious activity and money laundering reporting.

Methods and systems for processing jackpots, including providing jackpot-related forms such as tax forms to jackpot winners, suspending jackpot processing, integrating jackpot processing with other features such as loyalty and financial/wallet features and systems, managing jackpot payment pouches, and processing of player tips, such as from jackpot funds, are provided.

Methods, systems and apparatus are provided for facilitating financial transactions using an IC type financial card presented at a terminal. A requested transaction for monetary value is processed via a first transaction type. If the transaction is successful, monetary value (such as cash or a monetary value ticket or receipt) is dispensed to the user. If unsuccessful, the card is not ejected and the transaction is processed via a second transaction type. The first transaction type might be a PIN based ATM or ticket transaction and the second transaction type might be a signature based transaction.

A casino credit access instrument comprises a source of funds for a player, such as for placing wagers to play casino-style games or to purchase other goods or services. The instrument defines a period of timed during which credit may be accessed up to a predetermined amount, defines a redemption period during which any accessed credit may be re-paid, and defines settlement terms if the instrument is not redeemed. Controls may be utilized which control access to the credit. Credit may be granted based upon financial collateral, which collateral may be executed upon to settle the instrument. The instrument provides a convenient source of funding for players at low risk to the casino or other lender.

A method and system are provided for electronically issuing, tracking and processing casino credit, including rim credit and marker credit, and for tracking bets and generating player ratings. The system allows for real-time display of markers, rim credit and their status. The system may link to other systems such as a casino credit system for cross-sharing of information. The system comprises a processing server in communication with one or more mobile processing devices.

Relative to a gaming system, a jackpot or game win processing device and server are configured to receive acknowledgement from a player regarding a gaming win award, such as input to the game win processing device of a signature by the player to gaming win forms. In response, the server is configured to generate at least one gaming win reporting form, such as a W2G, to store that form and provide access to the form, such as by emailing the form to the player or allowing the player to access the form via a portal.

In one embodiment, the terminal comprises a housing; a card reader configured to accept at least a portion of a card having an integrated circuit; at least one display; at least one processor; and at least one memory configured to store machine readable code, the machine readable code comprising a first kernel corresponding to a first transaction type and a second kernel corresponding to a second transaction type.

A method and system for patron ID processing in a casino environment may present ID authentication results via graphical user interface which includes primary and secondary results indicators, and may be distributed to allow users of multiple workstations to scan patron IDs via a common scanner and access the scanned ID information from a pool, where scanned ID information is protected by being deleted when selected or if not selected in a period of time. The scanned ID information may be used in an ID authentication process, including where that process may run in the background of another application.
