Disclosed is a system and method for automated outage and workflow planning system in a distributed electrical power grid with planned de-energization of electrical equipment as opposed to responding to an unplanned power outage. An automated system provides core conflict resolution and power outage planning. The present invention automatically notifies requestors of upcoming work orders. In addition, the present invention reduces scheduling inefficiencies by requiring requestors to confirm, decline, or edit on the fly their pending work order(s). The system also determines if all the orders are not completed and places the order back on the calendar for another day.

A system and method for creating a remediation plan with in-context learning (ICL) to a large language model (LLM) involves accessing pieces of content from a corpora and calculating similarity scores between selected content and the corpora. If the similarity score exceeds a set threshold, static metadata—such as authorship, file name, file size, last updated date, or source location—is retrieved. Dynamic metadata, including word count, sentence count, grammar correctness, number of citations, or layout classification, is also generated. Based on static and dynamic metadata, a remediation action is determined, which may involve merging content, prioritizing one piece over another, or ignoring certain content. A remediation prompt is then created and sent to the LLM to generate a preferred output. The process continues by accessing additional unprocessed content and repeating until a time limit expires, computational resources are consumed, or all content has been processed.

Some embodiments provide systems and methods for gas pipeline pathway analysis, control and communication. In some embodiments, a physical pipeline scheduling and control system comprises a server or computer-based computing system configured to receive a user input corresponding to a request for a gaseous resource, automatically obtain data from a plurality of data sources, automatically simulate a plurality of potential pathways of the gas pipeline network, automatically output a pathway recommendation comprising at least a first recommended pathway, receive a user selection of a selected recommended pathway, automatically format a nomination for the selected recommended pathway, and automatically access and control a separate electronic submission system and electronically submit the nomination for the request for the gaseous resource to the electronic submission system for execution.

Systems and methods for substantiating a compliance standard with secondary evidence. In one example, a method includes identifying a first evidentiary package of a set of evidentiary packages to use for substantiating whether a regulated entity meets a compliance standard. Each evidentiary package of the set of evidentiary packages defines parameters to meet the compliance standard. The method also includes analyzing a first set of operational data associated with the parameters of the first evidentiary package. In response to the first set of operational data being deficient, the method further includes identifying a second evidentiary package to use for substantiating whether the regulated entity meets the compliance standard. The method yet further includes generating an evidentiary submittal package for the regulated entity based on an analysis of the second set of operational data.

Employing artificial intelligence to generate regulatory reports is discussed. One example is a machine-readable medium having machine executable instructions for a regulatory reporting system that causes a processor core to execute operations. The operations include assigning a set of labels to an event log of a set of event logs based on applying a pattern matching algorithm to the event log. The event log characterizes a portion of an event associated with a nuclear power plant. The operations also include employing a natural language processor (NLP)-based classifier of a set of NLP-based classifiers to determine whether the event is reportable. The NLP-based classifier determines whether the event is reportable based on analyzing the set of labels. Additionally, the operations include generating a regulatory report based on the set of event logs. In response to a determination that the event log is reportable, the regulatory report indicates the event.

One example relates to an image classification system that includes a memory for storing machine-readable instructions and a processor core for accessing the machine-readable instructions and executing the machine-readable instructions as operations. The operations include accessing a set of images. An image of the set of images includes image timing information. The operations also include accessing a set of user-selected labels. A label of the set of user-selected labels includes label timing information. The operations additionally include determining a time relationship between the set of images and the set of user-selected labels. The operations further include associating the label with the image based on the image timing information, the label timing information, and the time relationship. Additionally, the operations include outputting an indication of the association of the label with the image.

A system for predicting vegetation encroachment into a utility asset that includes a remote sensing controller that stores a set of 3D data characterizing a utility asset and vegetation in a digital twin database. The digital twin database stores 3D data characterizing the utility asset and vegetation over time. The system further includes a biomass engine that classifies instances of vegetation characterized by the set 3D data stored in the digital twin database as a particular type of vegetation. The biomass engine further generates a growth curve for each instance of vegetation based on the set of 3D data stored in the digital twin database and the particular type of vegetation. Additionally, the biomass engine predicts future growth for each instance of vegetation based on the growth curve and determines if and when each instance of vegetation will exceed an encroachment threshold associated with the utility asset.

Systems and methods for training a machine learning based natural language processor to process specialized language terms. A training corpus of labeled specialized language terms associated with a specialized subject area is assembled. A generated database query corresponding to a question comprising at least one specialized language term within the set of labeled specialized language terms is created with a machine learning based natural language processing process. A cost function is determined based on differences between the generated database query and contents in a knowledge graph mapping terms describing characteristics of entities associated with the specialized subject area. The natural language processing process is refined based on feeding back the cost function to create a refined natural language process. Received queries are processed with the refined natural language process to create database queries directed to answering questions associated with the received query, and the answer is presented.
