A system for monitoring a health parameter is disclosed. The system comprises a device having one or more transmit antennas configured to transmit Activated RF Range radio waves over a space below the skin surface of a user and one or more receive antennas configured to receive a responded portion of the transmitted Activated RF Range radio waves. A network base module is configured to transmit or receive Activated RF Range radio waves from the device base module over the cloud network. The network base module comprises a create transfer function module configured to obtain an output signal of the device base module and a known output ground truth data. The create transfer function module generates an artificial intelligence (AI) correction algorithm between the output signal of the device base module and the known output ground truth data, and an execute transfer function module configured to execute the AI correction algorithm.

The present disclosure provides a method for monitoring a health parameter of a person in which a system receives data that corresponds to a digital pulse wave signal that is generated from radio frequency data that corresponds to radio waves that have responded from below the skin surface of a person, wherein the radio frequency data is collected through a three-dimensional array of receive antennas, the receive antennas are located at various locations to the transmit antennas, and determines a value that corresponds to a blood glucose level in the person in response to the data that corresponds to the digital pulse wave signal.

A method for monitoring a signal that corresponds to blood glucose level. The method includes transmitting by one or more transmitting (TX) antennas, active RF radio waves below the skin surface of a user, and receiving radio waves on one or more receiving (RX) antennas. The received radio waves include a response portion of the transmitted radio waves. Further, the method includes collecting signals in response to receiving the radio waves on one or more RX antennas; modifying the signals to filter out certain frequencies bands not associated with glucose waveforms; sending the signals to a network processing module; and receiving a blood glucose level from the network processing module in response to the signals.

An analyte sensor for use in detecting an analyte in an in vitro sample via spectroscopic techniques using non-optical frequencies that are in the radio or microwave frequency bands of the electromagnetic spectrum. The analyte sensor uses at least one transmit antenna (which may also be referred to as a transmit element) that functions to transmit a signal in the radio or microwave frequency range of the electromagnetic spectrum into the in vitro sample containing an analyte of interest, and at least one receive antenna (which may also be referred to as a receive element) that functions to detect a response resulting from transmission of the transmit signal by the transmit antenna into the sample. The data can then be analyzed to detect the presence of the analyte and/or determine a concentration of the analyte.

A method for providing notification regarding one or more analytes includes detecting an amount of each of the one or more analytes using a non-invasive sensor, determining a notification to present based on the amount of at least one of the one or more analytes and notification criteria using a processor, and sending an instruction directing presentation of the notification. The method can further include presenting the notification. The notification can include vibration, sound, or visible components such as light, text, or images. The notification criteria can include upper thresholds, lower thresholds, or the analyte being within or outside of bounded ranges. Systems performing the method can include the sensor and optionally one or more of a mobile device and a remote server, and the notification can be presented in a device including the sensor or a separate device such as the mobile device.

A non-invasive analyte sensor includes one or more motion sensors and/or one or more temperature sensors. Data from the one or more motion sensors and/or one or more temperature sensors can be used to post-process the data obtained by the non-invasive analyte sensor.

A non-invasive analyte sensor that includes at least one electromagnetic shield at least partially electromagnetically isolates an electrical component of the non-invasive analyte sensor from radio frequency interference and/or microwave frequency interference.

Methods for determining variability in a state of a medium, include monitoring the medium and determining the variability in the state of the medium based on the processing of the response over time based on the response detected at the at least one receive element over time. Monitoring the medium can include generating a transmit signal, transmitting it into the medium using a transmit element, and receiving a signal from the medium at a receive element. The transmit and receive elements can be decoupled from one another. The transmit and receive elements can have differing geometry. The determined variability in the state of the medium can be used to provide notifications and/or take automated actions.

The one or more analytes indicate at least one of an identity and/or a current status of an individual seeking access, and the access level is based on the identity and/or status of the individual.
