Systems and methods for returning query results are described herein. The computing system can include ephemeral memory. The computing system can receive a user query identifying first data and identify whether the first data is stored in ephemeral memory or the external in-memory data store. If the first data is stored in the ephemeral memory, the computing system can return the first data from the ephemeral memory. If the first data is stored in the external in-memory data store, the computing system can transmit a request to the external in-memory data identifying the first data using a data block identifier associated with the data. The computing system can then receive the data from the external in-memory data store, return the data as the query result, and cache the data in the ephemeral memory with a time-to-live value.

Systems and methods for managing a plurality of data objects in a bitemporal manner are disclosed. The system includes one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media that collectively store instructions that cause the computing system to perform operations, the operations comprising: maintaining a first set of data objects comprising one or more values corresponding to one or more data fields; receiving one or more modifications associated with at least one of the one or more values; modifying at least one of the one or more values as a function of the one or more modifications; constructing a second set of data objects as a function of the modified one or more values; and constructing a third set of data objects as a function of the second set of data objects, wherein the third set of data objects comprises an alternate version of the one or more values.

A computing system that determines employee and organizational compliance includes one or more databases that store organizational data and one or more processors to execute instructions to perform various operations. The operations include accessing, from the organizational data, employee information associated with a first employee object, accessing, from the organizational data, jurisdictional information associated with a first jurisdiction object, importing one or more compliance parameters relating to the first jurisdiction object to generate one or more compliance rules parameterized for the first jurisdiction object, determining compliance with the one or more compliance rules parameterized for the first jurisdiction object with respect to the first employee object, based on the employee information and the one or compliance parameters, and providing an output indicating whether the one or more compliance rules parameterized for the first jurisdiction object are being complied with, with respect to the first employee object.

A system displays a first field in a data structure within a user interface, wherein the first field is automatically determined by the computing system based on a plurality of underlying parameters. The system displays an explanation user interface element in the user interface proximate to the first field. The system receives user input indicating selection of the explanation user interface element. The system, in response to receiving user selection of the explanation user interface element, updates the user interface to display one or more data objects representing the underlying parameters used to generate the first field.

A computing system includes computer-readable media to store instructions and processor(s) to execute the instructions to perform operations including: receiving a request for generation of a report having a plurality of data elements; identifying two or more different datasets that collectively contain the plurality of data elements; automatically generating one or more join configurations for combining the two or more different datasets based on a prioritization of data elements which define a join key for the one or more join configurations; executing the one or more join configurations to generate a combined dataset from the two or more different datasets; assigning unique identifier(s) to a portion of the combined dataset and expanding the combined dataset; performing an aggregation operation associated with the portion of the combined dataset by referencing the unique identifier(s); and generating the report based on the combined dataset and the aggregation operation.

Techniques for automatically generating reports based on organizational data. For example, a computer system can include a database of organizational data associated with the organization. The organizational data includes a plurality of employee data objects and a plurality of previously generated report configuration files. The system can include a machine-learned model configured to generate a report configuration file based on a prompt. The machine-learned model can be trained using the plurality of previously generated report configuration files. The system can receive a user query requesting a report associated with the organizational data. Additionally, the system can process, using a natural language processing model, the user query and the employee data objects to generate a prompt. Moreover, the system can process, by the machine-learned model, the prompt and the organizational data to generate a report configuration file. Furthermore, the system can generate the report based on the report configuration file.

Systems, computer-implemented methods, applications, and user interfaces for providing triggers in a system of record are disclosed. For example, a computer-implemented method may include: receiving, via a first interface for defining custom objects, a custom object definition; automatically generating, based on the custom object definition, one or more second interfaces for defining an automated workflow associated with the custom object; receiving, via the one or more second interfaces, an automated workflow comprising one or more conditions and one or more actions to be performed when the one or more conditions are satisfied; and executing the automated workflow responsive to determining that the one or more conditions are satisfied. The automated workflow can comprise at least one condition or action comprising a creation, read, update, or deletion of a data record associated with the custom object definition.
