A computing system includes computer-readable media to store instructions and processor(s) to execute the instructions to perform operations including: receiving a request for generation of a report having a plurality of data elements; identifying two or more different datasets that collectively contain the plurality of data elements; automatically generating one or more join configurations for combining the two or more different datasets based on a prioritization of data elements which define a join key for the one or more join configurations; executing the one or more join configurations to generate a combined dataset from the two or more different datasets; assigning unique identifier(s) to a portion of the combined dataset and expanding the combined dataset; performing an aggregation operation associated with the portion of the combined dataset by referencing the unique identifier(s); and generating the report based on the combined dataset and the aggregation operation.

Systems, computer-implemented methods, applications, and user interfaces for providing triggers in a system of record are disclosed. For example, a computer-implemented method may include: receiving, via a first interface for defining custom objects, a custom object definition; automatically generating, based on the custom object definition, one or more second interfaces for defining an automated workflow associated with the custom object; receiving, via the one or more second interfaces, an automated workflow comprising one or more conditions and one or more actions to be performed when the one or more conditions are satisfied; and executing the automated workflow responsive to determining that the one or more conditions are satisfied. The automated workflow can comprise at least one condition or action comprising a creation, read, update, or deletion of a data record associated with the custom object definition.

Systems, computer-implemented methods, applications, and user interfaces for defining custom user interfaces in a system of record are disclosed. For example, a computer-implemented method may include: providing one or more first interfaces for defining one or more custom objects; receiving, via the one or more first interfaces, at least one custom object definition comprising one or more data fields; automatically generating, based on the at least one custom object definition, one or more second interfaces for configuring one or more graphical user interfaces; receiving, via the one or more second interfaces, at least one graphical user interface configuration defining a layout for a graphical user interface associated with the at least one custom object definition; generating, based on the graphical user interface configuration, at least one third interface comprising a graphical user interface having the layout; and providing, to one or more users, the at least one third interface.

Specifically, the proposed systems enable the intelligent generation of reports from multiple datasets by automatically determining a proposed set of join configurations for combination of the multiple datasets. The proposed set of join configurations can be executed as proposed and/or can be edited or customized by the user to generate reports from the multiple datasets. Thus, the proposed systems and methods can provide intuitive and user-friendly tools for generating data reports that accurately synthesize and summarize data contained in multiple different datasets.

A computer-implemented method includes maintaining one or more databases that collectively store organizational data associated with an organization and an object graph data structure having a plurality of data objects associated with the organizational data. The method further includes generating a formula field which includes one or more dependent fields, wherein the formula field is defined and evaluated using a query expression that makes reference to the object graph data structure. The method further includes, in response to a value of at least one of the one or more dependent fields changing to an updated value, automatically updating a value of the formula field based on the updated value of the at least one of the one or more dependent fields, and enabling inclusion of the formula field in one or more of a report, a policy, a workflow, a trigger, or a rule.

For example, a computer-implemented method may include: providing one or more first interfaces for defining one or more custom objects; receiving, via the one or more first interfaces, at least one custom object definition comprising one or more data fields; automatically generating, based on the at least one custom object definition, one or more second interfaces for configuring one or more graphical user interfaces; receiving, via the one or more second interfaces, at least one graphical user interface configuration defining a layout for a graphical user interface associated with the at least one custom object definition; generating, based on the graphical user interface configuration, at least one third interface comprising a graphical user interface having the layout; and providing, to one or more users, the at least one third interface.

Methods, systems, devices, and tangible non-transitory computer readable media facilitating runtime reporting across multiple entities using a multi-tenant database including data of the multiple entities without intermingling the data. In an example embodiment, at a reporting runtime, the disclosed technology can: execute a hybrid class to generate a hybrid runtime data object that can include location-specific reporting data that can correspond to multiple entities and multiple reporting locations; evaluate, with respect to a certain reporting location, a mapping file of the hybrid class to determine whether to retrieve a reporting value of a reporting data field from a first data object corresponding to a first entity or from a second data object corresponding to a second entity; and/or access the first data object or the second data object to retrieve the reporting value based at least in part on evaluation of the mapping file.

Provided is a data management platform that can facilitate runtime reporting across multiple entities without intermingling data of the multiple entities in accordance with at least one embodiment described herein. For instance, a data management platform according to one or more embodiments of the present disclosure can generate and/or maintain a single, centralized database (e.g., a multi-tenant database) that can include a plurality of data models (e.g., data graphs) that can respectively correspond to different entities. The data management platform can further employ and/or access such data models that can be stored in such a centralized database to facilitate runtime reporting associated with at least one of the different entities without intermingling the data of the different entities.
