A method for producing a cellulose product from a multi-layer cellulose blank structure, wherein the method comprises the steps; forming the multi-layer cellulose blank structure from at least a first layer of dry-formed cellulose fibres and a second layer of a cellulose fibre web structure, through arranging the at least first layer and second layer in a superimposed relationship to each other and in the superimposed relationship arranging the at least first layer and second layer in contact with each other; arranging the multi-layer cellulose blank structure in a forming mould; heating the multi-layer cellulose blank structure to a forming temperature in the range of 100° C. to 300° C., and forming the cellulose product from the multi-layer cellulose blank structure in the forming mould, by pressing the heated multi-layer cellulose blank structure with an isostatic forming pressure of at least 1 MPa, preferably 4-20 MPa, wherein the multi-layer cellulose blank structure is shaped into a two-dimensional or three-dimensional fibre composite structure having a single-layer configuration.

A method for manufacturing a cellulose product, comprising the steps: dry forming a cellulose blank in a dry forming unit; arranging the cellulose blank in a forming mould; heating the cellulose blank to a forming temperature in the range of 100° C. to 200° C.; and pressing the cellulose blank in the forming mould with a forming pressure of at least 1 MPa.

The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a cellulose product having a flat or non-flat product shape by a pressure moulding apparatus comprising a forming mould. The forming mould has a forming surface defining said product shape, The method comprises the steps of: arranging a cellulose blank containing less than 45 weight percent water in said forming mould; heating said cellulose blank to a forming temperature in the range of 100° C. to 200° C.; and pressing said cellulose blank by means of said forming mould with a forming pressure acting on the cellulose blank across said forming surface, said forming pressure being in the range of 1 MPa to 100 MPa.

A cellulose product toggle pressing module for forming non-flat cellulose products from an air-formed cellulose blank structure. The toggle pressing module includes a toggle press including pressing member movably arranged in a pressing direction, a toggle-mechanism connected to the pressing member, a pressing actuator arrangement connected to the toggle-mechanism, and an electronic control system operatively connected to the pressing actuator arrangement. The toggle pressing module includes a forming mold including a moveable first mold part attached to the pressing member and a second mold part. The electronic control system is configured for controlling operation of the pressing actuator arrangement for driving the pressing member using the toggle-mechanism in the pressing direction and forming the non-flat cellulose product from the cellulose blank structure by pressing the first mold part against the second mold part. Furthermore, the toggle press is installed with the pressing direction of the pressing member arranged primarily in a horizontal direction.

A method for detecting a liquid composition applied onto a cellulose blank structure, with a detection system. The detection system forms part of a cellulose product forming unit for forming cellulose products from the cellulose blank structure. The detection system includes a detection unit connected to a control unit. The method includes: providing the cellulose blank structure and feeding the cellulose blank structure in a feeding direction, where the cellulose blank structure moves through an application area and a detection area, the application area being arranged upstream the detection area; applying the liquid composition onto the cellulose blank structure in the application area; detecting the applied liquid composition in the detection area with the detection unit; analysing a detection result formed by the detection by the control unit, thereby forming an analysis result; and initiating a control action by the control unit upon detection of an analysis result deviating from a pre-determined analysis result.

A method for manufacturing non-flat cellulose products from an air-formed cellulose blank structure in a product forming unit. The product forming unit includes a buffering module and a pressing module including one or more forming molds. The method includes providing the cellulose blank structure and feeding the cellulose blank structure to the buffering module; buffering the cellulose blank structure in the buffering module, and feeding the cellulose blank structure from the buffering module to the pressing module; forming cellulose products from the cellulose blank structure in the one or more forming molds by heating the cellulose blank structure to a forming temperature, and pressing the cellulose blank structure with a forming pressure. The cellulose blank structure is continuously fed to the buffering module in a first feeding direction, and intermittently fed from the buffering module in a second feeding direction, wherein the second feeding direction differs from the first feeding direction.

Method for dry-forming cellulose products from a cellulose blank structure in a product forming unit. The product forming unit includes a blank dry-forming module and a pressing module. The cellulose blank structure is air-formed in the blank dry-forming module onto a forming wire. The pressing module includes one or more forming molds for forming the cellulose products from the cellulose blank structure in a pressing operation. The method includes arranging the forming wire in a stationary mode during the pressing operation.

A product forming unit for manufacturing non-flat cellulose products from an air-formed cellulose blank structure ( 2 ). The product forming unit includes a blank dry-forming module with a moveable forming wire, a toggle pressing module with a toggle press and a forming mold, and an electronic control system operatively connected to the forming wire and the toggle press. The blank dry-forming module is configured for air-forming the cellulose blank structure onto the forming wire. The toggle press includes a pressing member movably arranged in a pressing direction, a toggle-mechanism drivingly connected to the pressing member, and a pressing actuator arrangement drivingly connected to the toggle-mechanism. The forming mold includes a moveable first mold part attached to the pressing member and a second mold part. The electronic control system is configured for controlling operation of the pressing actuator arrangement for performing pressing operations, which involves driving the pressing member in the pressing direction by the toggle-mechanism, and thereby forming the non-flat cellulose product from the air-formed cellulose blank structure by pressing the first mold part against the second mold part. The electronic control system is configured for intermittently feeding the forming wire between subsequent pressing operations.

A bottle forming unit and method for dry-forming a cellulose bottle from an air-formed cellulose blank structure in a bottle forming unit is provided. A first section of the shaped cellulose blank structure is fed to a first forming mould and a semi-closed bottom portion of the cellulose bottle is formed from the first section in the first forming mould, simultaneously with forming the neck portion of a directly preceding cellulose bottle from the first section in the first forming mould. A following second section of the shaped cellulose blank structure is fed to the first forming mould and the neck portion of the cellulose bottle is formed from the second section in the first forming mould, simultaneously with forming a semi-closed bottom portion of a directly following cellulose bottle from the second section in the first forming mould.

A bottle forming unit and method for dry-forming a cellulose bottle from an air-formed cellulose blank structure in a bottle forming unit. The dry-formed cellulose bottle comprises a neck portion, a closed bottom portion, and a mid-portion arranged between the closed bottom portion and the neck portion. The mid-portion is arranged in fluid communication with the neck portion. The dry-formed cellulose blank structure is shaped into a shaped cellulose blank structure, where the shaped cellulose blank structure has a tube-like configuration with an inner surface and an outer surface. A first section of the shaped cellulose blank structure is fed to a first forming mould and a semi-closed bottom portion of the cellulose bottle is formed from the first section in the first forming mould, simultaneously with forming the neck portion of a directly preceding cellulose bottle from the first section in the first forming mould. A following second section of the shaped cellulose blank structure is fed to the first forming mould and the neck portion of the cellulose bottle is formed from the second section in the first forming mould, simultaneously with forming a semi-closed bottom portion of a directly following cellulose bottle from the second section in the first forming mould.
